Doing so requires you to enforce a routine maintenance schedule for every part of your HVAC system. Keep your business (and your HVAC system) running smoothly by following this simple checklist.
1. Use High Quality Filters and Replace Them Regularly

4. Locate and Repair Air Leaks

Dirt, moisture, and other debris can build up in air ducts over time. In extreme cases, air ducts can become completely clogged, which can be detrimental to the system in many ways. 6. Inspect, Clean, Treat, and Repair all Moving Parts
All HVAC systems come with a bunch of different moving parts. Dampers, fans, valves, and many other common components have pulleys, motors, sliding surfaces, and belts that all need to be regularly checked, cleaned, treated, repaired, and replaced. You should get your eyes on each of these parts every few months, and clean them at least twice a year.
7. Confer with an Expert
Honestly, there is a lot more that goes into properly maintaining large HVAC systems. While performing the above tasks regularly will do a lot to ensure the functionality of your system, consulting a certified HVAC technician will do even more. Good technicians can easily identify areas that need attention, and finely tune each part of the system.
